Do veterinary exams have to be annual?

Yes. Veterinary exams allow us to monitor your pet as they age. We collect information from each appointment and keep a record of their health. Depending on the breed, your furry friend may be susceptible to certain conditions. Bringing them in for a regular appointment allows us to know if these diseases are surfacing or if they will need a new wellness plan. Our veterinarians are familiar with the subtle signs of diseases and irritations. The earlier a medical condition is detected, the less severe their reaction will be.

What kind of things do you want to know when I bring my pet in for an exam?

Everything! We know pet owners love to talk about their furry babies and we are the perfect people to overshare with! Tell us about your pet’s sleeping and eating habits, exercise and behaviour. We want to know if they’re having difficulty moving, aggressive when you touch them or showing signs of anxiety. These could all imply that your pet is experiencing pain or discomfort. The more we know, the easier it is for us to diagnose your pet and treat them.
