After working as an LPN at NRGH for 10 years I spent 7 years as a stay-at-home mom. When it was time to go back to work, I needed to upgrade my education, so instead of furthering my studies in human health care I decided to change my path and work with animals because, simply put, I love dogs! My husband and 2 daughters have been quite supportive of this change. My furry and feathered family includes, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain dog, 1 purr-fect cat, 17 chickens and soon to welcome a "Tiny" canine to our pack.
